Fredericksburg Music Club sets spring concerts

Three more performances remain this spring as part of the eight programs scheduled for the 2022-2023 concert season by the Fredericksburg Music Club, which this year has been marking its 87th season of providing quality performances for Texas Hill Country residents.

Set for 3 p.m. on the third Sunday of each month in the sanctuary of Fredericksburg United Methodist Church, 1800 North Llano Street, this season’s remaining concerts will feature:

• Rob Landes, pianist, on March 19;

• Alamo City Chorus, award-winning barbershop quartet, April 16;

• The Moanin’ Frogs, six saxophones, on May 21.

Attendance at concerts is free of charge, thanks to grants, as well as private and corporate donations received through the mail or at the door of each performance.

The Fredericksburg Music Club’s goals, since the non-profit organization was founded in 1937, have been to provide the area with quality musical programs, to support music education and to make the gift of music available to everyone.
