A Meal Worth the Wait

Every year cars line up near St. Mary’s Catholic Church and guests flood the fellowship hall to partake of the annual St. Mary’s Turkey Dinner.

The 61st annual Turkey Dinner will be held on Oct. 15 this year at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, and guests can drive-thru, walk up for take-out, or dine in-side. Meals include turkey and a variety of traditional holiday sides.

This event is a longstanding tradition in the St. Mary’s church and school community.

“Generations of families have invested time and energy to develop this fund-raiser into an enjoyable festival with food and fellowship, a spokesman said.

In addition to the meal, there will be a prize giveaway and parking lot games for kids and families.

Meal tickets are $12 and prize tickets are 6 for $10. Tickets can be purchased starting Monday, Sept. 25 at the St. Mary’s Catholic School office, Arrowhead
