Altdorf Biergarten

The wide selection of brews are both local and imported. The El Pasoan owner also features her family enchilada recipe on the menu, alongside the Wurst Platte and Schnitzel. The beer garden is open 11 a.m.-9 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday, 11 a.m.-10 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 11 a.m.-3 p.m. Sunday.
Fredericksburg Brewing Company
245 E. Main St. | 830-997-1646 yourbrewery.com The 1994 brewery is open 11:30 a.m.-6 p.m. Wednesday and Sunday, 11:30 a.m.-8 p.m. Thursday and 11:30 a.m.-9 p.m. Friday and Saturday. The oldest operating brewpub in Texas sells German fare alongside their list of more than 20 craft beers, including Enchanted Rock Red Ale and an Anniversary IPA. The 1890s era building houses a beer hall, biergarten and a 12-room upper level “Bed & Brew.”
Ogle Brewing
312 Schmidtzinsky Road (off U.S. 290 East) | 830-304-2900 archrayresort.com/brewery The brewery is open Sunday through Thursday 11 a.m.-7 p.m. and Friday and Saturday 11 a.m.-9 p.m. Reservations are required for groups larger than six. A part of Arch Ray Resort, the brewery offers a rotating list of handcrafted beers, including light ales, lagers and IPAs.
Yeehaw Saloon Wine, Beer, and Spirits

Bluemont Brewery

Bluemont offers seasonal pints and flights of craft brews in addition to their Hill Yeah hard cider. Various tours of the property, mixology classes and tastings are available. The Zurschmeide family’s Stonewall vineyard and brewery can host group events and picnics.
Altstadt Brewing
6120 U.S. 290 East | 830-304-2337 altstadtbeer.com The brewery is open 11:30 a.m.-6 p.m. Wednesday and Sunday, 11:30 a.m.-8 p.m. Thursday and 11:30 a.m.-9 p.m. Friday and Saturday. Altstadt’s state-of-the-art brewery offers German-style beers and lagers made through both traditional and new brewing practices. The European-style beers can be found across Texas, if not sipped on the multi-level patio at the brewery or in the biergarten. In the basement is an authentic Rathskeller for a more intimate setting. There is also a second 1940s-era brew house in use that was found in Bavaria, restored and shipped to Texas. Altstadt gives tours, features live music, fine food and beer tastings. Group events, weddings and corporate gatherings can be accommodated at the brewery.
