T exas Fandango, a vintage motorcycle event, will take place April 12-14 at the Gillespie County Fair Grounds.
The annual event is presented by the Cherokee Chapter of the Antique Motorcycle Club of America, whose members collect, restore and preserve vintage motorcycles in Texas, Arkansas and Oklahoma.
Event activities include a swap meet, bike show and races. Flat track, dirt drags and mini bike races will take place on Saturday morning with race finals at 4 p.m.
Sunday morning events include the Xtreem Flattrack Races and the Vintage Road Run where pre-1986 motorcycles ride for approximately two hours with a stop at Luckenbach Texas.
General admission is $20 per person at the gate. Active military or veterans are $10 with a valid ID at the gate. Kids 12 or under are admitted free. No club colors are allowed to enter. A portion of the ticket sales benefits the Optimist Club of Fredericksburg.
