Fredericksburg Rotary Club will sponsor the festival June 7-8.
The event includes a Friday evening VIP Awards Dinner for Texas craft breweries who entered its beer competition. Held at the Altstadt Brewery, the event features an awards presentation in the grand beer hall, plus tours of the production center of the operation. Altstadt serves as a major sponsor of the event.
On Saturday, June 8, the festival moves to Marktplatz downtown with booths featuring pours of top Texas craft brews, a diverse selection of Texas music culminating with Alex Meixner’s polka band, food booths, a “Suds and Tastes” food cooking demonstration tent, cornhole and other fun attractions.
Proceeds from this year’s event will go to the Hill Country Community Needs Council, which gives short-term assistance to locals in need for items ranging from help with utility bills, to school supplies, to tax filing.
