M any local art galleries join together once a month to celebrate First Friday Art Walk Fredericksburg.
On the first Friday of each month, participating galleries feature special events, shows and exhibits, artist demonstrations, special appearances, receptions and more from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
The galleries serve local wines, cookies on occasion and other refreshments. Some also offer live entertainment.
Many of the galleries fly Art Walk flags on the day of the events.
