T he 31st Fall Art Show and Sale of Die Künstler von Fredericksburg (The Artists of Fredericksburg) is slated for Friday through Sunday, Nov. 8-10, at the historic St. Joseph’s Halle, 212 W. San Antonio St.
DK, as it is commonly known, is looking forward to showcasing another outstanding exhibition of artworks in 2024.
The Fall Art Show and Sale features original artwork by DK artists.
Works include art displays in oil, pastel, charcoal, watercolor acrylic, pencil or ink.
This event garners visitors from Texas, as well as out of state.
DK actively promotes appreciation of, and support for, the visual arts.
DK encourages artists of all levels to continually develop and improve their talents.
Art education DVDs from their extensive library of art education materials are available to club members to further their artistic knowledge and creativity.
DK was founded by an all-volunteer member artist group in 1993.
Die Künstler received its name in honor of Fredericksburg’s German heritage.
The group holds regular monthly meetings, featuring informal live demonstrations by noted artists in a variety of genres and styles.
Meetings are usually held on the first Thursday of each month from September through June at the Gillespie County Historical Society, 312 W. San Antonio St.
