29th Wildflower run/walk

Runners can celebrate Texas Wildflower Day in the Hill Country by competing in the 29th Annual Fredericksburg Wildflower Run/Walk on Saturday, April 22. Competitors will follow a scenic course in and around Fredericksburg that begins and ends downtown at Marktplatz. There will be parking, restrooms and registration available on race day. There will be a 5K and 10K run and 5K walk this year.

Bet on it - Gillespie County Fair Grounds brings horse racing to town

The Gillespie County Fair Grounds horse racetrack will host four big weekends of live horse racing over the summer of 2023. Race dates, rain or shine, are scheduled for July 1-2, July 15-16, Aug. 12-13 and Aug. 26-27. Admission is $10 per person, $5 for children 6-12, and free for children five or under.
