Garrison Brothers

Garrison Brothers is the first legal bourbon distillery in Texas, offering an old-fashioned, time-consuming production process to produce one of the nation’s finest artisan bourbons. 

Garrison Brothers’ Balmorhea received a Double Gold Medal in the 2020 San Francisco World Spirits Competition 

They have specialty bourbons which have also rated high marks among appreciative bourbon connoisseurs. 

Garrison Brothers offers a $10 “Tour & Toast” tour on Tuesdays through Saturdays (Saturdays are $20) at 10 a.m., noon, 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. (No children or smoking allowed.) Reservations are recommended for tours, so please visit their website to book your spot. 

Bourbon is available from the Garrison Brothers Whiskey Shack from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m Tuesday through Sunday. 

The distillery is located just east of the Gillespie County line. The facility also has a gift shop.
